voco hotels, a premium brand within IHG Hotels & Resorts, has announced its entry into the Canadian market with three new hotel signings in Montreal, Toronto, and Niagara Falls. These openings aim to combine local culture with the quality of a global brand.

Guests at these new locations will experience voco hotels’ commitment to sustainable stays and unique charm. The brand’s hallmarks include “Come on in,” “Me time,” and “voco life,” which provide an inviting arrival experience, comfortable rooms with indulgent bedding, and vibrant bar and restaurant spaces for celebrations.

Scott Duff, Vice President of Development for IHG Hotels & Resorts in Canada, expressed excitement about expanding voco hotels into Canada. He stated that both owners and guests are attracted to the brand’s distinctive properties that blend local individualism with trusted quality. He added, “We are thrilled to add another country to voco’s growing list of destinations.”

The first planned opening is voco Niagara Falls – Fallsview in late 2026. This hotel will occupy a space in the city’s tourist district and feature 232 guest rooms across two towers. Amenities will include a restaurant, coffee shop, indoor pool, and fitness center.

voco Montreal is scheduled to open by mid-2027 as a new-build property near major attractions like the Montreal Convention Center. It will offer 55 guest rooms along with spacious dining areas.

Another significant project is voco Toronto Airport West near Toronto Pearson International Airport. Set for completion in 2027, this hotel aims to be Canada’s first zero-emissions carbon-neutral hotel under IHG’s Low Carbon Pioneers Program.

These Canadian projects mark a continuation of voco hotels’ rapid expansion worldwide. In 2024 alone, there were 45 new signings including market debuts in India and Sweden.
