U.S. Travel Association President and CEO Geoff Freeman has issued a statement following the Senate’s confirmation of Bryan Bedford as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
“We congratulate Bryan Bedford on his confirmation to serve as the next Administrator of the FAA. Bedford brings more than 30 years of aviation experience—both as a pilot and President and CEO of a regional airline—to the agency at a critical time,” Freeman stated.
Freeman expressed eagerness to collaborate with Administrator Bedford, Secretary Duffy, and President Trump to modernize the air traffic control system. This update aims to provide travelers with safe and efficient air travel experiences. With significant events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup, America 250, and 2028 Olympics approaching, Freeman emphasized readiness to work with Bedford and the Department of Transportation for what he described as “the Golden Age of Travel.”
