After enduring significant damage from Hurricane Ian in 2022 and additional challenges from Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024, Seaside Resort Fort Myers Beach has announced its grand reopening. The resort has undergone a comprehensive renovation of all units and amenities, ready to welcome guests once again.

Built originally in the 1970s, Seaside Resort combines retro charm with modern comfort along Florida’s Gulf coast. Each two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium has been rebuilt to accommodate four to eight guests, featuring equipped kitchens and private beachfront balconies.

The resort’s amenities have also been enhanced. These include a heated community pool, direct beach access with loungers, a grill area with picnic tables, shuffleboard courts, beach towels provided by the Seaside HOA, an onsite office with staff, and an updated laundry facility.

Located on Estero Island in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, the resort offers easy access to public beaches, restaurants, and shopping areas within walking distance.

Distinctive Beach Rentals manages vacation rentals for Seaside Resort Fort Myers Beach HOA. “We are incredibly excited to welcome guests back to Seaside Resort,” said Ruth Chambers, General Manager at Distinctive Beach Rentals. “The renovations have transformed the property into a stunning retreat.”

Guest reservations can be made by calling (844) 334-4588 or visiting their website online.
