Regent Seven Seas Cruises reported its highest single-day bookings for a new ship launch with the opening of reservations for the Seven Seas Prestige on June 25, 2025. The cruise line said that bookings surpassed its previous record, set during the 2018 launch of Seven Seas Splendor, by 26%. Additionally, the Skyview Regent Suite—priced at $25,000 per night—was fully booked on six out of thirteen available sailings in its first season.
“I’m absolutely thrilled, but not surprised, by the phenomenal results that Seven Seas Prestige has produced – we knew that luxury travelers were extremely eager to reserve their suite on this incredible ship,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Seven Seas Prestige promises to begin a new legacy for the entire ultra-luxury cruise sector, and we cannot wait until she joins the fleet in December 2026. I’d like to thank our valued guests and Travel Partners, as well as Regent’s highly talented and professional teams around the world who all contributed to this fantastic achievement.”
The Seven Seas Prestige is scheduled for delivery in late 2026 and represents Regent’s first new ship class in ten years. Built by Fincantieri, the vessel will be approximately 77,000 tons—40% larger than earlier ships from the company—but will accommodate only about 10% more guests. The ship is designed to carry up to 822 guests with a crew of 630.
The all-balcony suites aboard Seven Seas Prestige are available in twelve categories. Four of these are newly introduced designs: two-level Skyview Suites with private terrace decks accessible via in-suite elevators; Grand Loft Suites featuring high ceilings and large windows; Horizon Penthouse Suites with large balconies; and the Skyview Regent Suite which measures about 8,794 square feet.
Amenities include unlimited shore excursions at each port of call, fine dining across seven specialty restaurants—including Azure’s mezze-style Mediterranean menu—and access to eleven different dining experiences overall. Other included features are Starlink WiFi service onboard, valet laundry service, pre-paid gratuities, entertainment options throughout public spaces such as Starlight Atrium and Galileo’s Bar, and a one-night pre-cruise hotel package for Concierge-level suite guests or higher.
The inaugural season will offer thirteen voyages covering destinations across Europe and the Caribbean. The maiden voyage begins December 13, 2026 with a fourteen-night transatlantic sailing from Barcelona to Miami. Ports of embarkation include Miami (Florida), Los Angeles (California), and New York City—with stops at boutique ports such as Cartagena (Colombia), St. Lucia (Caribbean), Bordeaux (France), along with multiple overnight stays at select destinations.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is known for offering an inclusive luxury experience across its fleet—which includes ships such as Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Grandeur—and serves between roughly 500-800 guests per vessel on routes spanning over 550 destinations worldwide. The company operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., information about which can be found at https://www.nclhltd.com/.
