Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Shenzhen Yuen Kai Hotel Management Co., Ltd. have announced the opening of Mumian Shanghai Expo, which introduces The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand to Shanghai. The hotel is located in the Shanghai Expo area and offers views of the Lujiazui skyline. Its design combines traditional Shanghai architecture with modern luxury, aiming to provide guests with an experience rooted in Haipai culture.

The property includes 332 guestrooms, suites, and serviced residences, many featuring views of the Huangpu River and city skyline. The interiors use clean lines and natural light while incorporating elements of local culture. Dining options include SUGAR PAVILION, which serves a range of cuisine including specialty coffee and desserts, as well as Xiao Nan Yang Restaurant offering Huaiyang and Shanghainese dishes along with fusion creations. There are also function spaces for meetings or events, a rooftop garden, and an art gallery that hosts exhibitions.

The hotel is situated at the intersection of Expo Avenue and Expo Park in Pudong’s Expo zone. It is close to cultural sites such as the China Art Museum, the Expo Center, and the Power Station of Art. The location connects guests to both business districts like Lujiazui Financial District and commercial areas such as Qiantan.
