Marriott International has entered into an agreement with Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited to open six new hotels in India. The deal covers 940 rooms across four cities and includes projects under five Marriott Bonvoy brands: The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, and Fairfield by Marriott.
The signing ceremony included Rajeev Menon, President for Asia Pacific excluding China at Marriott International; Nirupa Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Group; Vineet Verma, Director of Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited; Ranju Alex, Regional Vice President for South Asia at Marriott International; and Kiran Andicot, Regional Vice President for Hotel Development South Asia at Marriott International.

The planned properties include:
– The Ritz-Carlton Vaikom Island in Kerala is scheduled to open in 2029. It will feature a 70-villa retreat with private pools as well as five dining venues.
– JW Marriott Chennai OMR is expected to launch in 2030 with 250 guest rooms and suites. Amenities will include wellness spaces such as Spa by JW and a range of culinary options.
– Thiruvananthapuram Marriott Hotel World Trade Center is also anticipated for a 2030 opening. It will have 200 rooms along with several dining venues including M Club.
– Courtyard by Marriott Chennai World Trade Center aims for a 2027 debut featuring 45 guestrooms near major commercial office complexes.
– Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru International Airport plans a 2028 opening with 224 rooms located close to business hubs.
– Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Brigade Valencia is set for fiscal year 2028 completion in South Bengaluru’s IT corridor offering 151 keys.
Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited has previously developed several hotel projects across key cities in South India.
