IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new Vignette Collection property in Ho Chi Minh City, marking its second hotel under this brand in Vietnam. The agreement is made in partnership with LCK Hospitality Company Limited, a business involved in hospitality development and art dealerships.
The 52-room hotel is set to open later this year, welcoming both domestic and international guests as well as IHG One Rewards members. It will be the first Vignette Collection property to open in Ho Chi Minh City and joins a global network of 23 operating hotels and 38 others in development under the same brand.
Vignette Collection is described by IHG as its first collection brand, focusing on hotels that each maintain their unique identity while following shared standards for authentic travel experiences. The key features of the brand include ‘Memorable Rituals’ and ‘A Means For Good.’
Dinh Trong Khoa, Director of Development for Vietnam at IHG Hotels & Resorts said: “We are excited to keep growing and strengthening our leading position in Luxury & Lifestyle hospitality in Vietnam by introducing our Vignette Collection brand to Ho Chi Minh City, in partnership with LCK Hospitality Company Limited.
“It has been a pleasure to collaborate closely together throughout the development journey of this outstanding hotel. Together, we are bringing to life our shared vision for this property, with the joint aim of delivering great stay experiences to our guests for many years to come.
“We’re also proud to accelerate the great growth momentum of Vignette Collection. We’re confident this hotel will emulate the success of the recently opened Moire Hoi An, Vignette Collection – By IHG as it becomes the brand’s second property in Vietnam.”
Mr. Trang Hai Dang, Director of Asset Management at LCK Hospitality Company Limited added: “We are thrilled to partner with IHG for our first hotel project. When considering the best brand for this property, above all we wanted a proven model of success, and were highly impressed by the successful launch of Moire Hoi An, Vignette Collection – By IHG which provides travellers with unique and authentic stay experiences, inspired by its location.
“The new property will be located alongside antique and art galleries and in close proximity to the Fine Arts Museum. As art dealers, we want to bring to life the rich artistry of Vietnamese charm and culture in a one-of-a-kind stay which will tie in nicely with its location. We look forward to introducing this truly distinctive Vietnamese stay to our guests when it opens.”
The hotel will be located about half an hour from Tan Son Nhat International Airport and less than one kilometre from notable city landmarks such as Ben Thanh Market, Independence Palace, Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, and Saigon Opera House.
Vietnam’s tourism sector continues its recovery with robust growth figures reported so far this year. In the first six months of 2025 alone, there were 10.7 million international arrivals—a 21% rise compared with last year—helped by relaxed visa requirements and improved flight options (https://www.vietnamtourism.gov.vn/english/index.php/items/18733). Ho Chi Minh City specifically saw an increase as well; international visitors reached 3.8 million during that period (up 44%), while domestic visitors topped 18 million (a rise of 7%).
IHG currently operates 20 hotels across eight brands within Vietnam and has another 22 properties planned or under construction. Sixty percent of these existing hotels fall within IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle segment—brands that include Six Senses, Regent Hotels & Resorts (https://www.regenthotels.com/), InterContinental Hotels & Resorts (https://www.intercontinental.com/), Vignette Collection (https://vignettecollectionhotels.com/) ,and Hotel Indigo (https://www.hotelindigo.com/).
