IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of two new hotels in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The dual-branded project will introduce Kimpton and EVEN Hotels to King Abdullah Sports City, a key location that will host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. The partnership with Koushan Real Estate Development Company marks a significant step for IHG in expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia’s hospitality sector.

The development combines IHG’s boutique luxury lifestyle brand, Kimpton, with its wellness-focused premium lifestyle brand, EVEN Hotels. This combination aims to attract diverse visitors, including international sports fans, wellness-conscious travelers, and business guests. The hotels’ strategic location provides easy access to major infrastructure such as the stadium and King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Haitham Mattar, Managing Director of IHG Hotels & Resorts for India, Middle East & Africa, stated: “We are thrilled to partner with Koushan Real Estate Development Company once again to bring Kimpton and EVEN Hotels to a location as iconic and strategically important as King Abdullah Sports City.” He emphasized the alignment of this project with Saudi Arabia’s goals for world-class destinations ahead of the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

Marwan Al Qaydy, CEO of Koushan Real Estate Development Company, expressed pride in elevating the area’s hospitality offerings through this collaboration: “Our partnership with IHG ensures guests will enjoy a world-class stay that is rooted in quality, innovation, and experience-led living.”

Kimpton Jeddah KASC will feature 330 rooms designed to provide an immersive guest experience rooted in local culture. It will offer specialty restaurants and wellness facilities. EVEN Hotel Jeddah KASC will focus on wellness travel with 255 rooms equipped for fitness activities alongside nutritious dining options.

These additions expand IHG’s portfolio which includes over 6,600 hotels globally and more than 2,200 properties under development.
