IHG opens first voco hotel in Ireland at strategic location

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of voco The Club – Dublin Gateway in partnership with Nhance. This new addition marks IHG’s first voco hotel in the Republic of Ireland and is set to be fully rebranded by the end of summer 2025. With this development, IHG now has ten open and pipeline properties in Ireland.

The voco brand, known for its distinct guest experiences, recently celebrated reaching 100 open hotels worldwide. Launched in 2018, voco has seen significant growth with properties across more than 25 countries. Its flexible design approach makes it suitable for conversions, allowing owners to benefit from IHG’s platform with minimal upfront costs.

Situated on a picturesque 12-acre site, the hotel is located 15 miles west of Dublin in County Kildare, an area renowned for horse racing. It is conveniently near the N7 motorway, providing easy access to Dublin, Cork, and Limerick.

The hotel features a brasserie-style restaurant and an outdoor spa with hot tubs and sauna. It also offers multiple meeting spaces and ample parking for business and social events.

Dublin remains a top-performing capital city in Europe, attracting over seven million international visitors annually. According to Oxford Economics, visitor numbers are expected to grow by 11% each year through 2026.
