IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open a new voco hotel in central Bangkok. The company signed an agreement with SCX Corporation Company Limited, a subsidiary of SC Asset Public Company Limited, to develop the voco Bangkok Siam. The 350-room hotel is scheduled to open in 2029 on Phayathai Road, opposite Siam Discovery Shopping Center and close to several major shopping destinations and BTS Siam station.
The property will have 28 floors and offer amenities such as a restaurant and bar, gym, rooftop pool with city views, and meeting facilities. Its location provides guests easy access to retail malls, restaurants, bars, events, and live entertainment venues.

The voco brand was launched by IHG in 2018. Since then it has grown rapidly worldwide; as of June 30th 2025 there are over one hundred open hotels under this brand across twenty-five countries along with more than one hundred additional properties planned or under development globally. The first global voco resort recently opened in Quang Binh (Vietnam), while other openings include Bandung (Indonesia). The brand’s entry into Thailand will begin later this year with another property—voco Bangkok Surawong—followed by additional locations such as Nha Trang (Vietnam).
