Hyatt Regency Times Square has officially opened its doors, marking the debut of Manhattan’s first Hyatt Regency hotel. The property is owned by Argent Ventures and managed by Highgate, a company known for real estate investment and hospitality management. The hotel, located at 1605 Broadway, underwent a multi-million-dollar transformation to offer 795 rooms with modern amenities and design elements that reflect the vibrant neighborhood.
Mohit Malhotra, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Times Square, stated, “Hyatt Regency Times Square is the most exciting recent addition to New York City’s hotel landscape.” He emphasized the seamless travel experience offered by the brand for both business and leisure guests.
The hotel’s redesign features a two-story lobby with dining options and a glass atrium overlooking Broadway. The project was supported by Lucid in collaboration with Gensler and Hyatt. Each guestroom offers views of New York City through oversized windows, complemented by sophisticated furnishings.
In partnership with MAMMA MIA!, which returns to Broadway on August 2, the hotel provides a themed room inspired by the musical. Additional facilities include one of Manhattan’s largest hotel fitness centers and commercial space marketed by CBRE.
Hyatt Regency Times Square joins nearly 30 other Hyatt properties in New York City. It is now open with rates starting at $349 per night. More information can be found on their website or social media platforms.
The term “Hyatt” refers to Hyatt Hotels Corporation or its affiliates.
