Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the launch of Retreats by World of Hyatt, a limited-time series of immersive wellbeing experiences at select locations across the United States. The initiative aims to provide guests with multi-day packages that focus on personal renewal through restorative environments and holistic programming.
According to TJ Abrams, vice president, global wellbeing at Hyatt, “Today’s travelers want more than just a relaxing getaway – they are seeking meaningful experiences that inspire and reconnect them to what matters most. At Hyatt, we believe wellbeing is personal, and these retreats are designed to meet guests exactly where they are – offering space, support and tools to recharge mentally, physically, and emotionally. Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to go deeper, these retreats provide the path toward lasting wellbeing. And with more destinations planned for the future, this is just the beginning.”
The retreats will take place in various settings known for their natural beauty. The Desert Flow retreat at ULUM Moab in Utah will offer glamping accommodations near Looking Glass Arch from September 25-28. Activities include workouts led by movement coach Hollis Tuttle, guided hikes, hydrotherapy sessions, sound baths under the stars, and workshops focused on nutrition and tea blending.
Another program called Zion Unplugged will be held at Under Canvas Zion in Virgin, Utah during the same dates. Guests will stay in safari-style tents and participate in sunrise yoga sessions as well as guided hikes through both popular and lesser-known trails of Zion National Park. Additional activities include stargazing within DarkSky Park parameters and fireside storytelling.
From October 9-12, Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, California will host a Fitness Performance Retreat led by coaches from DBC Fitness of San Diego. The program features conditioning classes tailored to individual needs along with sleep and nutrition workshops. Participants also have discounted access to Miraval Life in Balance Spa Aviara.
These new offerings build on Hyatt’s existing portfolio of wellness-focused experiences such as those available at Miraval Resorts & Spas—known for their integrative programs—and other properties like Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa which offers an Ayurvedic detox program called Panchakarma. In addition, Camp Unwritten—a partnership between World of Hyatt, Under Canvas and Reese’s Book Club—blends outdoor activities with literary-inspired events. Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort in Costa Rica continues its collaboration with Blue Zones for wellness retreats featuring plant-based cooking classes and nature excursions.
Booking information for all upcoming retreats can be found at hyattexperiences.com; availability is limited for each event.
“The term ‘Hyatt’ is used in this release to refer to Hyatt Hotels Corporation and/or one or more of its affiliates.”
