Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced new management agreements with Chai Talay Hotel Co. Ltd and Narai Hotel Company Limited for The Barai Hua Hin and Narai Hotel, respectively. These properties will be the first in Thailand to join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand, expanding Hyatt’s presence in the country to 15 hotels across seven brands.

The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is known for featuring hotels that offer unique experiences tied to local stories or historical backgrounds. Each property aims to provide guests with distinct environments and services.

“We are proud to announce these plans to introduce The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Thailand with two distinctive properties in Hua Hin and Bangkok,” said David Udell, group president, Asia Pacific, Hyatt. “This marks an exciting chapter in our brand growth in the country and the Asia Pacific region. It underscores our commitment to delivering unique luxury experiences that today’s travelers increasingly seek.”

The Barai Hua Hin is scheduled to open at the end of 2026 next to the beachfront Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. The resort will focus on wellness offerings, including a spa designed by Thai architect Lek Bunnag, featuring 18 treatment rooms and eight residential spa suites inspired by Thai healing philosophy. Additional amenities will include 90 rooms and suites, a wellness center, pool oasis, gardens, and two restaurants—McFarland House and The White House. Hua Hin is located about three hours from Bangkok by car.

Narai Hotel is expected to reopen under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in 2028 on its original site in Silom, Bangkok. This hotel will have 250 rooms as part of Hatai—a new development for dining, retail, and community activities designed by Heatherwick Studio. Facilities will include multiple dining options, a lounge, fitness center, pool, meeting spaces, and easy access to Chong Nonsi BTS station.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is based in Chicago and operates more than 1,450 hotels worldwide as of June 30, 2025.
