Hilton signs first Tapestry Collection hotel in Saudi Arabia

Hilton has announced the signing of Diyar Ajwa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in partnership with Al Musbah Group. This marks the debut of the lifestyle Tapestry Collection brand in Saudi Arabia. The new hotel is expected to open later this year and will be located north of the central Haram area in Madinah.

Mohammed Almusbahi, director at Al Musbah Group, expressed pride in partnering with Hilton for this project. He stated that the hotel would offer visitors an authentic experience rooted in local heritage. Carlos Khneisser, chief development officer for Middle East & Africa at Hilton, highlighted that this signing reflects Hilton’s commitment to expanding its portfolio in key destinations across Saudi Arabia.

The property will feature 221 guest rooms and suites, along with dining facilities and a fitness center. The design will draw inspiration from the Ajwa date, native to Madinah.

Tapestry Collection by Hilton consists of independent hotels known for their unique stories and designs inspired by their locales. Currently, Hilton operates 20 hotels across Saudi Arabia with plans for 77 more under construction.
