Hilton has announced that it now operates over 500 hotels in Florida, marking a significant expansion of its presence in the state. This growth is partly driven by Hilton’s lifestyle brands, including the upcoming debut of Tempo by Hilton. The company aims to offer unique and locally inspired experiences across Florida’s coastal and urban destinations.
In 2024, Florida saw a record-breaking 143 million visitors. Over the past decade, Hilton has nearly doubled its presence in the state to meet the demand from travelers seeking diverse experiences. John Koshivos, Vice President and Managing Director for Development in Southeast U.S., said, “We are proud of our multi-brand growth in Florida, where we’ve introduced the breadth of Hilton’s award-winning brands, from Hampton by Hilton to Conrad Hotels & Resorts.”
Hilton plans to expand its lifestyle footprint with new properties under various brands such as Tempo by Hilton and Canopy by Hilton. These developments will be located in cities like Pensacola, St. Petersburg, Fort Myers, Miami’s Brickell area, and Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas.
Recent additions to Hilton’s portfolio include THesis Hotel Miami Coral Gables and The Hiatus Clearwater Beach under Curio Collection by Hilton. Additionally, new openings like Hampton Inn St. Augustine Downtown Historic District and Conrad Orlando highlight the diversity of Hilton’s brand lineup.
Hilton’s commitment to expanding its presence in Florida remains strong with nearly 140 properties planned across 15 brands statewide.
