Hilton has announced the signing of The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton, in partnership with Dominus. This will be the tenth property under the Curio Collection by Hilton brand in the UK and is expected to open in early 2026.
Nick Smart, vice president of development for UK, Ireland, and the Nordics at Hilton, stated that “Curio Collection by Hilton’s continued expansion in the UK is a testament to the popularity and commercial success of our forward-thinking lifestyle brand.”
The hotel will be located on Great Tower Street in London’s financial district, known as the Square Mile. It aims to cater to business travelers due to its proximity to key locations like the Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral. The hotel will feature 237 guest rooms and suites offering views of London’s landmarks.
Dominus CEO Preet Ahluwalia expressed confidence in leveraging their expertise with Hilton for this project. He said they have taken a sustainable design approach since acquiring the site in 2023.
Tom Sleigh from the City of London Corporation Planning and Transportation Committee welcomed the project, stating it aligns with their Destination City growth strategy.
Guests at The Derby London City can benefit from Hilton Honors, allowing them to earn points for stays and enjoy various rewards.
