Tucked into the historic heart of Natchez, Mississippi, The Little Easy is known for its Southern hospitality and boozy brunches. Filmmaker Tate Taylor, recognized for his work on “The Help,” created the space in response to a local need that became apparent when Mick Jagger, during the filming of “Get On Up,” experienced an unsatisfactory room service breakfast from a Chevron station. “He called me and said, ‘Y’all might need to get a breakfast joint,'” Taylor recalls. This led to the establishment of a lively and unpretentious eatery that has become popular among locals, visitors, and even Taylor’s film crews.
