Discovery Cove in Orlando has announced a special offer for Florida residents, providing 20% off reservations and a complimentary $50 gift card per guest. The promotion is available for new bookings made by August 24, with visits valid through March 8, 2026.

The $50 gift card can be used at Discovery Cove for merchandise, photos, or upgrades such as private cabanas and exclusive animal encounters. It is also valid at other domestic parks operated by United Parks & Resorts, including SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens, and Sesame Place.

Bundled packages are also included in the promotion. For example, the Dolphin Swim Package + 2 Parks package starts at $284 per person and includes one day of admission to Discovery Cove plus up to 14 days of unlimited admission to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando.

Brad Gilmour, Park President for Discovery Cove, said: “This exclusive promotion is perfect for our Florida families and couples looking to savor a first-class day trip or plan a last-minute Labor Day getaway. We’ve created the perfect no-stress getaway where every moment feels like vacation and now, with this bonus gift card, Floridians have even more freedom to make their experience uniquely theirs.”

Discovery Cove has received several recent awards. It was named the highest-rated theme park in America based on Google and TripAdvisor reviews. The park won the 2025 Good Housekeeping Family Travel Award for the second consecutive year. Its Wind-Away River was recognized as the best lazy river in America by USA Today’s 10Best. Newsweek’s Readers’ Choice Awards ranked it #2 for best animal encounter in the U.S., and #1 in Florida.

Guests at Discovery Cove have access to animal encounters in a tropical setting that features lagoons surrounded by landscaping, reefs, rivers, pools with waterfalls, and white-sand beaches. Admission includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages (including beer and wine for guests over 21), lockers, sunscreen safe for animals, towels, wetsuits, snorkel gear and parking.
