Delta Air Lines has announced plans to add 40 nonstop flights from Boston Logan International Airport to 10 leisure destinations across the United States for Patriots’ Day in April 2025. The move includes a new route to Panama City, Florida (ECP), marking Delta’s first-ever service on that route.
“Patriots’ Day is a uniquely Boston celebration, and we’re excited to offer nearly 6,000 additional seats on flights out of Boston to give our customers even more ways to make the most of the long weekend,” said Amy Martin, Vice President – Network Planning. “Whether you’re chasing sunshine, reuniting with loved ones or just taking a well-earned break, these new routes make it easier than ever to take off from Boston and land somewhere sunny.”
The extra flights will operate on April 17, 18, 23, 24, 25 and 26. Destinations include Panama City (ECP), Charleston (CHS), Jacksonville (JAX), Orlando (MCO), Myrtle Beach (MYR), West Palm Beach (PBI), Pensacola (PNS), Fort Myers (RSW), Savannah (SAV) and Sarasota (SRQ). The added capacity will be served by both Delta mainline and Delta Connection aircraft.
Delta has stated that these additions reflect its ongoing commitment to Boston as a key coastal hub. The airline offers travelers from New England increased options for direct access to warmer destinations during the spring season.
Currently, Delta operates up to 165 peak day departures from Boston Logan International Airport with service to a total of 62 destinations. This includes connections to international locations and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The company employs over 2,000 people in Massachusetts and works with local organizations through partnerships aimed at supporting the community.
