Delta Air Lines will launch two new nonstop routes from Boston to Europe in May 2025, expanding its international offerings for travelers in the region. The airline will begin daily service to Madrid on May 16 and three-times-weekly flights to Nice on May 17. These additions bring Delta’s total number of European destinations served from Boston Logan International Airport to twelve.
“As Boston’s leading airline, Delta plays a vital role in connecting the city to the world,” said Paul Baldoni, Senior Vice President of Network Planning. “By adding nonstop service to Madrid and Nice, we’re enhancing our European network and continuing our commitment to providing an exceptional travel experience from start to finish.”
The new routes are part of a broader expansion of Delta’s European network from Boston. In addition to Madrid and Nice, the carrier is increasing service to Barcelona and Milan. Daily flights to Barcelona will start on May 7, while four-times-weekly service to Milan begins on May 16. Both routes are launching earlier than last year in response to seasonal demand.
Delta has significantly increased its presence at Logan Airport over the past twenty years, growing from serving 25 destinations to approximately 70 worldwide. With these changes, Delta and its partners now connect Boston with four continents and operate around 20 daily international flights.
At Logan Airport, Delta recently opened a new Delta One Lounge offering premium amenities such as fine dining and personalized service. The expanded Delta Sky Club also provides travelers with soundproof work booths, shower suites, and various seating options.
Onboard the new flights to Madrid and Nice, passengers will travel on Airbus A330-900neo aircraft equipped with multiple product experiences. Delta One customers receive lie-flat seats, chef-curated meals, and Missoni-designed amenities. All passengers have access to curated dining options, entertainment through Delta Studio, and fast Wi-Fi for SkyMiles members provided by T-Mobile.
“We appreciate our partnership with Delta and are thrilled about their plans to grow their operations at Boston Logan with these new offerings to Spain and France, including Nice which will be our 60th international destination,” said Massport CEO Rich Davey. “Starting next spring, these flights offer our passengers even more options to travel to Europe for business or pleasure. With over 130 destinations to choose from and a new focus on improving the customer experience, Boston Logan is going above and beyond to meet passenger needs.”
Delta employs more than 2,000 people in Massachusetts and works with local organizations focused on education, sustainability, and community development.
