Daytona Aquarium announces rainforest exhibit grand opening with special events

The Daytona Aquarium & Rainforest Adventure will hold a grand opening ceremony for its new Rainforest exhibit on Thursday, July 24. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the facility located at 1008 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach.

According to the announcement, guests who arrive between 9:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. can purchase discounted day passes for $15 per person. These tickets are valid throughout the day during regular admission hours, which run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with last admission at 5:15 p.m.

Educational presentations will be offered at several times during the day—11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.—and Shark Talks are scheduled for noon, 1:45 p.m., 2:45 p.m., and 3:45 p.m.
