The Cambria Hotel Boston Downtown Seaport has announced the opening of The Essex Restaurant and Essex Rooftop. These new venues are now available to both guests and locals. This development is part of the hotel’s ongoing efforts to provide immersive, locally inspired experiences in Boston’s neighborhoods.

The Essex Rooftop is now the largest publicly accessible rooftop in Boston, offering full food and beverage service. It provides panoramic skyline views, small plates crafted by chefs, and unique cocktails in a stylish setting. The rooftop is designed for versatility, transitioning from casual daytime lounging to evening gatherings.

Inside the hotel, The Essex Restaurant presents a dining experience that highlights New England’s seasonal ingredients. The menu focuses on thoughtful sourcing and bold flavors, appealing to hotel guests and local diners alike.

“We’re proud to reinvest in Cambria Hotels and bring this exciting vision to life,” said the ownership group 6 West Broadway LLC. “The Essex Restaurant and Rooftop were designed not just to elevate the guest experience but to create a culinary and cultural connection with the vibrant South Boston community.”

“The Essex is more than a dining venue—it’s an invitation to engage with Boston through taste, atmosphere, and hospitality,” added Fabio Pari, General Manager. “We’re thrilled to offer something truly special to both travelers and locals.”

Located at 6 West Broadway, the Cambria Hotel offers 159 modern guest rooms, over 2,000 square feet of meeting space, and a fitness center. Situated near public transportation and key attractions like Fenway Park and Copley Square, it serves as a convenient base for various visitors.

Cambria Hotels continues its expansion in Greater Boston with properties like Cambria Hotel Boston Somerville near Harvard University and MIT. A new location will open in Plymouth this summer.
